Going home

I'm reading a book titled
1776.

It is basically a play by play
of George Washington leading a bunch of
unkempt unprepared
rebels against the mighty English in a fight for independence.

The pictures of the bridge above
have absolutely nothing to do with George Washington,
nor do the photo's below.

I just have absolutely nothing of interest to share today.
Crew change night will do that.
I'm busy packing and cleaning my room
( I have a carry on bag and a room as small as a prison cell, so actually it doesn't take me long to get ready)
in preparation of getting off this boat tomorrow
and spending 3 weeks at home.

My body is still here on the boat
but my head is home in Pennsylvania.
( My wife reports snow. )

See you next from dry land.

Your photographs have everything to do with George Washington... We might not have bridges if he hadn't don't his thing... And the birds... you might be on a boat off the coast of Norway... Great shots. You go out from your "little room" to give us great views of the world. Thanks.
