A Prickly Situation

Coming from an area of the country that is very green,
I was infatuated with these crazy plants
in Phoenix.

And I took way too many photos,
but here are a few.

Mark, It is amazing how many different cacti you saw. I just think..Oh yikes, when I see some of them. Looks as if you had a wonderful time on your trip. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

Having lived in Arizona for over twenty years, these were common sight to us. I always thought they had a beauty about them, but some people simply don't see their gorgeous design, and in the springtime many of them have bright colored blossoms. Thanks for posting these photos! Very different from living here in Virginia in a forest of trees rather than cacti.

I once had a neighbor that grew prickly pear in his garden for food. He loves them. I have not tried them. Your cactus are very beautiful.
