It's a journey

It's funny how one particular incident in life sometimes affects two people in two completely different ways. One person ends up being heartbroken while the other person is elated. Two different perspectives about a single event seen from polar opposite vantage points.

Neither person is wrong.

One view coming from a direction with security and comfort being the uppermost concern. Their view seen through something like a telescope, where everything comes into view. The other view coming from someone looking through a pinhole in a wall, they see what is right in front of them and they want that now. They want to put their stamp on this world, now. People who reach and dream past the normal limits end up going far,but sometimes not in the time frame of their liking.

I'm sure all successful people have had their share of disappointments. It's just part of the journey.

I like this quote. "You have all the reason in the world to achieve your grandest dream. Imagination plus innovation equals realization."
Someone close to me is disappointed today. This flower is for you.
