A virtual trip around the world

I’m at work right now which means I am on my tug boat. In a few hours the super bowl begins but I won’t be one of the millions of viewers anticipating this year’s hot commercials because down here in Puerto Rico we’d rather watch some single A baseball than the most important football game of the season.

So, why not Blog? I asked myself that question and couldn’t come up with a reason not to, so here I am. I recently discovered the “next blog” button at the top of my page, the one that just randomly switches you over to another blog. Who’s blogging, I wondered. What are they writing about? Where are they from? What are they sharing with the internet community? Is it as good as mine? Is mine good? How do you judge a blog? If it’s judged by the amount of “followers”, mine sucks. Zip, zero, nada.

I thought I would hit the “next blog” button 10 times and see what I learn. Here’s how it went.

Blog #1- Christa has a blog and she posts what seem like random pictures. The language looked German, but I’m not positive.

Blog #2- Russ, writes about his daily life. He just traveled to Philadelphia and spent 3 weeks holed up in his hotel room because it was cold. Poor Russ. I had to leave him a comment and told him where to go next time. He actually went to the art museum and ran up the steps and yelled “Yo Adrian”. So sad. But Russ has had 4485 viewers to his blog. Either he has a very large family or works in the networking field.

Blog #3- Was a spycam advertisement.

Blog #4- I just have no clue. Pictures of horror movies and a poem by a little boy.

Blog #5- Camila from Brazil posted pictures of models, modeling clothing. They were nice.

Blog #6- Titled “now or never” by a teenager from Argentina. She seemed to be writing about her life but I’m not positive. My Spanish is a little sketchy.

Blog #7- Some soccer team in England.

Blog # 8- A young man from Mexico. He wrote poems. I’m not a huge poem fan.

Blog#9- Andy a photographer from Canada had pictures of a Blue Herring and 5 heavy set brides’ maids jumping in the air.

Blog #10- Senoah, from Spain, posted pictures of spoons. He said he likes heavy metal and Obama.

Interesting!

This is so funny. I just started my own blog...and your blog was what I found when I hit the "next blog" button. I think I am going to follow your lead some time and see where that button will take me. For now I am facinated with your blog and have been reading and enjoying your pictures for the past few days. Thanks for sharing.
