email scam

It seems someone has helped themselves to my email contact list and all my family friends and co workers are getting daily emails from someone claiming to be me.
Since this blog is set up for me to post via email, his mass mailing ends up on this blog, which I have deleted each of the last 2 days.
Any suggestions on how to remedy this problem would be greatly appreciated.

DURN! I can't imagine how someone else manages to use an email address that's not registered to them. Maybe if you changed yours . . .? I know, a pain in the neck, but that's all I could think of. Good luck!

Yikes, I've never heard of anything like that before.. I second dcpeg in possibly changing your email address Mark.

Hey Mark,

I currently have the same problem. I am in the process of trying almost everything - from anti-spyware scanning. If I find something I will pass it along but in the meanwhile if you find something...please let me know.

Rhonda needs help this time around.

hello anonymous, I have given up the fight and am about to move to a different email account. Know one seems to be able to come up with a solution. Good luck to you with the problem.
