St. Patty's

I could have gone to Dublin

to celebrate St. Patty's day

but Chambersburg, PA is much closer,

and just as Irish.

12 of my cousins,

offspring of Grandparents born

in County Cork, Ireland,

and their families

gathered to celebrate.

And celebrate we did.

Best line I heard all weekend

was when my 96 yr old Aunt Helen was asked

if she would like a coffee or tea.

In an exasperated voice she said,

"No.....I want a Jameson!"
