The villain of Happy Valley,
the Nittany Lion monster
who preyed on helpless young boys for many years
and disgraced a once proud university
will be spending the rest of his life in solitary confinement
alone with the thoughts
in his head.

I hope this is the last time I mention
the name of Jerry Sandusky.

He was sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison.
He's now in his 70"s
you do the math.

Justice has been served.

**

I'm sure this won't be the last time
our back yard visitors
show up
and feed on the hasta plants
we so generously planted for them to munch on.

**

My family consists of 5 people.
My three daughters live elsewhere now.
As I watched my wife prepare dinner last night
I thought,
I don't think she got the memo.

LOL... hey, there is alot you can do with that leftover corn. Cornfritters for breakfast! corn spoon bread for dinner the next night! Or throw it out to the squirrels.

Jerry and his wife exchange letters discussing how all those people done them wrong. That would include the young man they adopted... unreal how so many people could turn against a man and reveal their most horrifying and embarassing experiences, huh? Unreal indeed.

as for jerry....well i have no words except he's where he should be {or should have been a long time ago}

and those deer...well obviously they love your yard. heck, give them some real deer food. i would. i mean, a salt lick or something :)

there are just the two of us now, too....and often my dishes look like they'd feed a whole family. it's a hard habit to break....so now we have lots of leftovers and i guess that's not such a bad thing :)

thanks for making me smile.....

You can never have too much fresh corn...

That's gotta be one of the coolest things to find out in your back yard! We're lucky if we find a hedgehog in ours!

Maybe the corn is for the deer....not you dear!
Jerry will rot in hell exactly what he deserves..I just wish he would have admitted guilt.

Have a great weekend!

I have no clue who that Jerry guy is you're talking about but I can imagine....grrr. Why on earth does God put people like this on the face of the earth....Love is all that's important and so very easy to give.

As for your deer, love them. So nuture those plants my friend and pictures like this will pop my way.

Corn! One of our fav veggies. But hardly anybody eat them over here in Holland, it's considered cow food. Well I don't agree but maybe that's because I boooo.

Happy weekend Mark.

Did you eat all that corn? She must have thought you were hungry.
Yes, justice has been served, but so sad for the school to suffer the consequences (though some did keep the secret too). Tell those deer to leave your hostas alone and shoooo!

That is VERY funny about the memo! LOL!!!

How sick is that a-hole to think for 1 second that anyone believes him, yet he continues to blame and profess his innocence. Disgusting pig. May he rot. Thanks for letting me vent! LOL!
