I think I have photographers block.
Is there such a thing?
I just can't find anything interesting to photograph.
That happens when you spend 2 full weeks anchored in the same place without moving.

I look at the same shoreline everyday.
The old heart gets racing when the tide turns,
and the boat spins around on the anchor, (yippee)
to give me another view of a different shoreline, different that is
from the shoreline I got to look at for the previous 6 hours.
6 hours later, another tide change, another shoreline........
well, you get the picture.

Though I've had a lack of photographic opportunities,
my window for writing has opened just a bit more.
Check out my article in the Gather News about an out of control flock of crows.

You're putting us on... You see it... that cloud with the gold fringe on top and the whole gulf below. You photograph makes me want to see it for myself, and I do in your picture. How did you get that bird to cooperate?

I like this picture but I get what you are saying...I have totally lost my picture mojo no excuses just no inspirations. Off to ready your last masterpiece!

All I have to photograph is autumn colors, day in day out... day in day out. It's enough to drive a woman mad I tell ya.

Just curious? When you sit in one place for that long can you go ashore or you stuck on the boat? Besides birds, do you see other life on the sea?

loved the crow story...since i don't live there :)

but those birds are WAY too smart and nothing will change what they want to do.

no matter how sharp that 72 year old shooter is :)

I think you 'same old same old' are gorgeous! But...if you want a challenge/inspiration here's a list:

1. Something old
2. Something new
3. Something round
4. Something straight
5. A new angle of something you've photographed before
6. Something you see every day...but you've stopped noticing.

And go! :)
