In Texas prisons, no lunch for you

I hate to break it to the blogging world, but my time here may be limited as i am now a PAID writer. That's right, moolah for me baby.

I am now a writer for the very well known news outlet, "Gather News."
You haven't heard of it? Oh, you will, with me on staff.
Am I a journalist? Christ, my dad just rolled over in his grave. Heck no.

I'm thinking retirement is just around the corner. The compensation is unbelievable.
For every 150 views my article gets on Gather, I receive two fifty.
No, not 250 bucks. 2 dollars and 50 cents.

On second thought, I'll be here for awhile.
Feel free to check out my first published article.

I just contributed to your retirement fund! lol!
Hard to think most of us NEED three meals a day with so much time spent on the computers, at home and at work...let alone prisoners confined to cells. They could be trendsetters!

Loved your humor, well written article.. and I think it's all a good idea,..Kathy said it best with her comment. I tried leaving a comment.. tried joining Gather... after the 15th password and user name rejection, I gave up. I will try again at some point.

Mark,
If you can't find anything else to do with your earnings from your writing career, get back in touch with me. I've got a bridge that's for sale... cheap... way below the original price. By the way, I like your article on the Texas prison system's determination to reduce its food budget. That Rick Perry! You've got to hand it to him. He thinks of everything. I'll bet he's even thinking about rationing toilet paper. What the hell is wrong with good old fashioned soap and water. He's itching to have a go at U.S. of A. expenditures.

Oh...Oh...Oh! Forgot to say! I'm opening "Gathering News" several times a day just to help with your retirement project. Retirement is good. I'm doing it. How else would I have all this time to keep up with the journalism careers of my friends...
