Plenty of fire wood.

I have a friend who started his own beer company recently. He's more than a friend, actually I basically watched him grow up. He is the same age as my oldest daughter, and they became friends as tottlers, so when I heard he was trying to get this business of his off the ground, I was really pulling for him.

Are you familiar with the "Most interesting man in the world" Dos Equis beer commercials?

Well, I wanted to promote my friends beer company on Facebook, so I took this picture and posted it with the words,
"I don't often drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Evil Genius."
So, if you come across any Evil Genius beer in your local store and you want to support the small business of a very nice young man, pick up a six pack or two.

I find it interesting that I thought by putting on a scarf and a hat, that would make me "the most interesting man in the world."

Now I know why my wife was rolling her eyes as she took this shot.

**
Over the years, my wife and I have had the discussion where she claims that all the "stuff" happens when I'm gone. i.e., water pump breaks, a blizzard shows up, the garage door opener breaks, etc. I'm beginning to see her point.
Last month when I came back to work, I got a phone call saying, "the wind storm knocked down one of our big trees in our back yard."

A few days ago, which was my first day back on the boat, I got a phone call saying, "the wind storm knocked down another tree."

I'm beginning to see a pattern here......and I like it.

If you get tired of your boat job, you could be a successful promoter of beer. I'm convinced. I'll be on the lookout for Evil Genius until I find some.

I hope your friend is successful. With that very interesting promoter, how can he fail? I've had to text Erik with more than one issue while he's away. Last year it was a rattlesnake in the front yard. No trees falling or pumps failing or expensive stuff....fingers crossed.
Thanks so much for your kind words on my photos.
