The Grand Canyon

I recently returned from the Grand Canyon, and upon reviewing some of the photos I realized what every other person who has visited this beautiful place has realized, and that is, words or photos does not do this place justice.
So, I will speak no more on this magical place.

I will post some photos, well, because I have a blog, and that's what we do.

Sunset on the Grand Canyon

Daughter Kelly with the best view.
Unfortunately for us, Bryn, my middle daughter did not make the trip with us, and she was missed.

Amazing pictures! We visited there many years ago in the late spring, we work up to a light dusting of snow it was a beautiful sight.

It is a magnificent place. I lived in AZ for 12 years and enjoyed a lot of hiking, backpacking, river rafting, etc. I agree, photos don't capture the awesome view and feeling of being there. Glad you had a good time.

It is a magical place. I've only been there once and it was such a 'quick' visit…want to go back with the girls.
Ok, I thought the photo of the four of you was you with your 3 girls….yes, you can tell your wife that I mistook her for her daughter!!
Glad you got to make the trip.

Wow wow wow is all I can say. I have not been out there and had no interest until I saw these pix! Thanks for sharing. Why have I never realized how amazing the Grand Canyon is??

Almost too big to take in with or without a camera... but you manage it beautifully.

wonderful shots of a spectacular place! There's something so majestic and holy there, so much that puts human beings in their rightful place - which is NOT as the center of the universe!
