Brussels Belgium via my lens

I've been lucky in that all 3 of my girls spent time, during their college years, either studying abroad for a semester or going to grad school.
Lucky for me because, it gave me an excuse to travel. I had to go visit them you know.

Well, as time has passed, they all have graduated and are taking their places in our world's workforce, I figured the days of chasing my kids around the globe were over.
But, much to my surprise, my oldest Erin, took a job last year in Belgium, which meant one thing.......
my wife and I were headed to Brussels. We have to go visit you know?

Erin and Matt played gracious hosts to us for a week as we walked every alley in the Belgium capitol.
My problem is this.
We spent a week in Brussels after spending a week in southern France. We don't do down time on a trip like this, so we packed so much stuff into these 2 weeks, I took over a thousand photos.........
and I have no idea where to begin.
So, today, just various sights, textures and randomness from our trip. Maybe tomorrow I'll have a story to tell, but I don't know where to begin.

I wondered where you'd been! I have been to Brussels and they have the BEST CHOCOLATE in the world. I will check back tomorrow and look through your photos, but for now let me just say I am a little green with envy. I know, it's not a good thing to be envious, but at least I'm honest. Welcome back.

Well done, sir! Lovely photos. Glad to see you back on your blog - was beginning to worry that you'd given it up.

What a wonderful trip! The pinkness of the tulips was gorgeous. Yes, much walking on cobble stones. And gorgeous old buildings, it sounds like the perfect trip. Looking forward to hearing more and seeing more.

The photos often tell such a vibrant story all of their own- these are fabulous. Hope there is more to share!

Is there a Betty Ford-bype clinic for people who've spent too long at the chocolate bar? I need the address.

Love the stain glass....every shot is amazing. You need to do an album of these pictures really worth printing.

THe color of the flowers is amazing! Love the travelogue! Lucky you to have a daughter living overseas and be 'forced' to take a trip!
