Top Chef

"It's all about the presentation,"

I chide my fellow crew members

as they jam their hand into a bag of chips

before jamming that same hand into their mouth.

A simple 3 cheese sandwich on rye
nestles up next to two
of my special dipping sauces.

Simple things.

Nothing says Christmas like a 3 cheese sandwich.

We are not savages.

My fellow crew members are convinced I'm nuts.


Christmas time is here.
Time to spend quality moments with family and friends
and friends of families
and friends of friends
"White Christmas"
and jingle bells
stockings and gifts
and cheese sandwiches
and trees and lights and tinsel
and tinsel all over the house.

Let the stress begin!!

I grill my cheese sandwiches with some caramelized onions and maybe a slice or two of ham (or whatever is in the frige, pepperoni or salami work well too). I call them the 'Waynerman'.

I'm trying so hard to NOT stress. Thanks for the giggle regarding your 'presentation' of what I can only think is a delicious sammy.
Last night I made a avocado and tomato sammy on toast; TO.die.FOR! :)

O.K., O.K., I'm convinced... I've got to make a three-cheese sandwich; but what do do about the sauce. What are the ingredients.

Yes and cheese sandwich with dipping sauce. Haven't heard of that one, but sounds good. It is time to celebrate the season. Enjoy!
