Can you imagine trying to explain the effect Autumn has on trees
to someone who has never witnessed it?
Like an Alien,
or someone from Florida?
I can just imagine their reaction.
The leaves turn colors?
All by themselves?
And then they all fall to the ground?
And then the trees
grow new leaves that are green?
And then they magically start
changing color again?
Yeah right

You're looking for sympathy with these photos, aren't ya? Is this your responsibility for raking up?...
:-)
I feel sorry for the good people of Florida, actually. Can you imagine never getting to see this? Not the raking part, but the color? The miracle of it all? (no, not the blisters either).
*sigh*
what a great backyard....
who's the dead body belong to in that one photo :)
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous but what a pain to rake! That's one thing I don't miss being a renter.
Beautiful!! I prefer Mother Natures rake....HIGH WINDS!!!!

Hi there Mark, wow what a way of thinking and so funny put down. Love the story and made me giggle.
And than those shots, do tell me this is NOT your backyard????
If so I'm selling my plot and come over to move in with you guys.

I'm jealous... We don't have much in the way of fall colors in San Diego... Just a few sweet gum trees scattered through the county... Your pictures of the trees are great... Thanks...
